These works explore the idea of attraction and repulsion. Experimentation with materials such as ash or used lint pads can impose strong symbolic references. However, the problem to add an aesthetic quality to an inherently repulsive material can pose a great challenge. These materials are used here to suggest the temporal nature of our lives, the fragmentation dreams, the fading of memory, and the seemingly insignificant minutia of daily life.
